Who we are looking for
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Social Media Marketing Executive. The role requires the drive and passion to provide a clear and consistent first class social media experience for our customers.

Reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce, you will also work alongside the existing design and digital team, plus the wider business.

Responsibilities include
Being responsible for managing the execution of our social media strategy, you will contribute to the growth of our online audiences in order to deliver key strategic objectives. This will be achieved through engaging posts and developing close relationships through social media by speaking with the community.

You will be required to ‘think on your feet’ in order to stay relevant and current, sharing content across all social media platforms.

Responsibilities include managing the marketing budget allocation for social media campaigns and ensuring campaigns are delivered within budgets and within agreed time frames. You will also report on KPI’s including ROI.

You will be able to demonstrate that you can build a strong rapport with customers, managing day-to-day queries. You will also have experience of developing relationships, communicating with colleagues both verbally and written, at all levels in order to correctly advise customers.

Helping to write content for our onsite blog also forms part of this role, which involves working with third-parties to develop content. You will maintain the blog, ensuring it is up to date, relevant and is intertwined with social media and other marketing activity.

You will support and assist the Marketing Manager and the wider marketing and digital teams in delivering on Equestrian.com’s overall marketing objectives and strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be driven and crazy about social media, being able to demonstrate evidence of having run social media campaigns and accounts on all of the main social media platforms.

You will also have excellent content and copywriting skills, alongside good Microsoft Office skills.

You will be comfortable in working in a fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs. You will also be able to offer out-of-hour support.

Highly desired but not essential as training will be given
